How Epoxy Flooring Lodi Works
Epoxy Flooring Lodi coats concrete floors in Lodi and the towns around it: garages, patios and pool decks, shops, warehouses and winery work areas. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems, and we choose between them after we have looked at your slab and how the space gets used.
The Central Valley is hard on a floor in its own way. Lodi has long, hot summers and a strong sun, and many garages here face the street with the door open half the day. Standard epoxy can yellow under that kind of light, and a hot slab changes how fast a coating sets. Winters are cool and damp, with fog and around 30 nights a year at or below freezing. A floor that works here has to handle both seasons.
What to expect from us
- A visit to measure the floor, look at cracks and old coatings, and test for moisture.
- A written quote that lists the system, each coat, the prep work and the total.
- Diamond grinding of the concrete so the coating has a clean, open surface to grip.
- Crack, chip and joint repair before the first coat.
- Scheduling around the heat, with summer work started early in the day when the slab is cooler.
- Clear instructions on when you can walk on the floor, move things back and park.
- A written change order for anything outside the original scope, signed by you before we do it.
We work on concrete only. We do not coat tile, wood or vinyl. If your slab has a problem a coating cannot solve, such as a crack that keeps moving or water coming up through the floor, we say so at the estimate.
